Humdinger in two day test!

I was got a Humdinger Shirt as a member of the Bikewear Test Team. It also turned out to be very effective on the mountain tour, where I wore it for the full two days.4.8. 9:00 - 16:00: Watzmannhaus – Wimbachgries hut, approx. 14km with descents of 1100 m and 600 m. During the initial ascent via Wimbachbrücke – in pouring rain – I wore the Humdinger under my anorak with a relatively heavy (60L) rucksack. After 7 hours, the jacket had started to let the rain in (unfortunately I had washed it – evidently not the right thing to do) and the shirt got pretty wet. There was no drying room in the hut, so I had to hang the shirt out on a line to dry. By the time we turned in for the night, there was so still so much moisture in the sleeves from the wet jacket and my sweat that I could wring it out by hand (not possible when I took it off). My Energizer underwear was also still a bit damp, but I kept it on – you could only really feel it at the waist belt.   5.8. 8:00 - 17:00: Wimbachgries hut - Hundstodgatterl – Kärlinghaus, approx 10km with 900m ascent and 600m descent through the ‘Steinernes Meer’. The shirt hadn’t completely dried when I put it on in the morning– but by breakfast it felt so good that I decided to leave it on anyway. Today's route had a steep, uphill start, followed by a downhill section – I’m not used to all this climbing (lots of breaks). The sun also came out in the course of the morning. By the time I reached the pass, I had sweated a lot. However, the Humdinger still felt so good that I didn't even need to put on a jacket for our lunch break at 2200m. The shirt provides good sun protection – the backs of my hands were really brown, compared to my lower arms. It also coped well with the (Tatonka) rucksack's carry system during the climbing section – I can’t see any sign of the material wearing.
