      Technical composition aside,

Technical composition aside, the HUMDINGER is, as I understand it, a far lighter weight of garment than the BEAVER and is therefore more suitable to year-round use in a wider variety of activities and temperatures. The BEAVER, therefore, is more suitable for colder conditions, offering greater insulation. Also, the HUMDINGER only comes with a short zip, whilst the BEAVER has either a short or full length zip.

      Hope that helps?

      Hi,
I have to aggree completely! The Humdinger Shirt is lighter, but it is stll used as second layer like the Beaver Shirt. The Humdinger Shirt is more elastic and supports your muscles with low compression. Both Shirts are allrounder. The big difference between the two shirts is the Technical composition. For the Beaver it has been used Macroterms, a specialy treated yarn (insulating air is accumulated and retained in the interior of the yarn). The material for the humdinger is called sorbanevapore: a highly elastic microfiber (rapid drying, no odour function, bacteriostatic, ...)
      Best regards!
