Yesterday the 1-st stage, of the 61-st Austria bicycle round trip, began in Dornbirn. 141 km, 3 mountain stages, as well as 3 intersprint stages, were finished with an average speed 44 km/h, before it came back to Dornbirn to the mass sprint. Here Michael Knopf from the Arbö KTM team, wearing X-SOCKS, performed brilliantly and due to bonus points from sprint stages, recieved the „best austrian“ shirt! Today there will be high demands put on the cyclists at the Kitzbüheler horn and gradients of 15 percent. „We are motivated top and posative that we could win with X-SOCKS as our partner. We can relay on thier unique products in any cycling situation“, says Robert Gassmayr, cyclist and press reprasentative for the team.
